And this lawsuit right here is actually about some serious allegations made against him. Who made these allegations? Oh, that was his former hype man who went by the name Terrance “T.A.” Dixon. First of All, Who is Terrance “T.A.” Dixon?
You may know Dixon just as a man from the background or a hype man. But when working for Fat Joe, he did actually do more than that. Like, he worked as the main hype man for Fat Joe from 2005 to 2020, roughly 16 years that is. During this time, he actually went on to help with songwriting, performed on stage, did background vocals, managed security, and handled some tour logistics as well, so all in all, he was doing so much more than just being a background personality. The thing is, it is now that he is saying that he did all of this but eventually got no credit for it whatsoever, heck, he didn’t even get a good pay for doing all these things.
That wasn’t it, though. Dixon claims that he had his hands in the songs “Congratulations,” “Ice Cream,” and “No Problems,” yet his name was removed from the list of credits. He claims that this was done on purpose to keep him silent and subservient. Nothing else!
What exactly is Dixon accusing Fat Joe of?
Oh, well, just without giving away the spoilers, you see, things are about to get very intense. So, there’s this 157-page lawsuit that dropped in June 2025, and Dixon is accusing Fat Joe of making him have over 4,000 sex acts with women, but that wasn’t it though, he even says that he did all that sometimes with Joe and his crew just watching or telling him what to do. He says it wasn’t his choice; he was afraid. He says that whenever he said no, Joe would brutally punish him. The example he gave for that was when this one time, Fat Joe made him come back home without any ticket or cash whatsoever. That was his way of punishing Dixon.
Dixon also claims he saw Fat Joe with underage girls, as young as 15 and 16. He talked a lot about this too, like, he says Joe even flew a teenage girl to places like Miami and New York, paid for everything, and talked of divorcing his wife to be with her. To be honest, right now this lawsuit is on-going, but whatever he is telling, if true, these are not only serious accusations, but they could actually result in criminal charges.
What is Fat Joe saying?
Well, so far, as you might have seen it coming miles away, sure enough, Fat Joe has denied all the allegations made against him. And just like we see in any other celebrity lawsuit, this time as well, Fat Joe’s legal team is straight up saying that this lawsuit is completely false and it was just brought up to damage Fat Joe’s image in the industry and demand a big pile of cash just to drop this lawsuit.
